現在のBalboa界で、間違いなく若手no.1・ダンサーのBlake ( USA )と、
最高にエレガントなダンサーIrina ( USA )がやって来ます。
最近イベントなどで、Balboaを踊るダンサーが増えてきたので、興味をお持ちの方も多数いらっしゃると思います。
そういった方や、なんとな〜くで踊っている方、そして、踊れるけれどよりブラッシュアップしたい方にとって、
今のBalboaが体感できるワークショップです。
通訳はFreddyが担当致します。
Tokyo Balboa Weekend 2019,

Instructors are;
Blake Thiessen ( U.S.A.), No.1 dancer among recent young Balboa scene,
and Irina Anzashvili ( U.S.A. ), the most elegant dancer without questions.

About Blake
A proud member of the Southern California dance scene, Blake has stayed up irresponsibly late on far too many nights dancing. If he's not social dancing, he's probably teaching, competing, or analysing old clips. And always enjoying the music.
This love of dance is partly why you'll have seen him in so many competitions recently. He can't bare to sit and watch when he could be up and dancing. And enthusiasm has brought him a wave of prizes in both lindy hop and balboa contests.
As a dancer and teacher, Blake values connected, finessed, historically rooted dancing. That means he likes his balboa to feel and look as good as it can. Few things make him happier than seeing students actively improving and enjoying their dancing.
About Irina
Dancing has always been a passion for Irina, her expression completely and boundlessly inspired by music. While Lindy Hop was her gateway to the world of swing, she was captivated by Balboa within her first few years of dancing and began dedicating more and more time to it. She owes her rapid progression in part to spending her formative years in the original home of Balboa and being lucky enough to regularly dance with and learn from some of the best Balboa dancers in the world. She has since earned many accolades from events such as All Balboa Weekend, California Balboa Classic, the International Lindy Hop Championships, and Camp Hollywood. As a teacher her goal is to patiently guide her students through building solid foundations and technique as well as inspiring individuality in personal movement. Irina's greatest joy as a teacher is to see her students progress with their dancing, no matter the increment.
