We organize swing dance classes and events, including Lindy Hop and Balboa. Amore & Lulu, the organizers and instructors, are based in Tokyo and are active throughout Japan, teaching workshops, performing at various events, and creating choreography for artists. Lindy Hop is a partner dance that became widely popular in the United States and Europe alongside swing jazz in the 1930s. Unlike traditional ballroom dance, it offers a high degree of freedom, allowing partners to fully enjoy the music and express themselves through improvisation. We believe that Lindy Hop is not just a dance, but a culture that embraces music and fashion. Our goal is to share and spread this culture across all generations.

Lindy Hopは、1930年代のスウィングジャズとともに欧米で大流行したペアダンスです。 一般的な社交ダンスとは異なり、パートナー同士が音楽を感じながら自由に楽しめる、即興性と遊び心にあふれたダンスです。
私たちは、リンディーホップを単なるダンスとしてではなく、音楽やファッションも含めたカルチャーとして、世代を問わず広く伝えていきたいと考えています。

Swing Jack!

Swing Jack is a club-style event held every other month on the first Saturday at the live music venue “440” in Shimokitazawa. Enjoy live performances by some of Japan’s finest swing bands, along with music selected by DJs spinning analog records—all with a drink in hand. We also offer a short beginner-friendly lesson before the event, so first-timers can easily get a taste of swing dancing. As a club event, it’s also a great place to simply enjoy the music, even if you don’t dance.
隔月の第1土曜日に、下北沢のライブハウス「440」で開催しているクラブイベントです。 日本の素晴らしいスウィングバンドのライブ演奏と、アナログレコードで選曲するDJによる音楽を、お酒とともに楽しめます。 初めての方向けの簡単なレッスンもあり、スウィングダンスの雰囲気を気軽に体験できます。 クラブイベントなので、踊らない方でも音楽を楽しめる、親しみやすいイベントです。

Chocolate Shake

Chocolate Shake is a monthly Lindy Hop social event. With music carefully selected by Amore’s DJs, you can enjoy a variety of swing dance styles. A 40-minute lesson is held before the social.

Bal x Bal

Bal x Bal is a DJ social event dedicated to Balboa. A 40-minute lesson is also offered before the event.

Mood for Swing

Mood for Swing is our annual Lindy Hop festival held during Golden Week. We invite top international instructors and host two days of workshops along with three consecutive nights of parties. It’s a special event that brings together dancers from all over the world.

Tokyo Balboa Weekend

Tokyo Balboa Weekend is a major Balboa event held ყოველ November. We invite top international dancers and offer two days of workshops and three nights of parties.
毎年11月後半に開催しているBalboaのビッグイベントです。 海外からトップダンサーを招き、2日間のワークショップと3夜連続のパーティーを開催します。
