This year is the 8th annual Mood for Swing, the biggest swing event in Japan, attracting swing dancers from Japan and around the globe.
This year, Mood for Swing, will host one of the world's hottest dancer.
Mood for Swing 2015 is a fantastic opportunity to learn from her here in Tokyo. This is a wonderful opportunity to study with her and dance with the best. - Don't miss this fabulous weekend in early May !
Mood for Swing will be a jam-packed 3 day dance-fest with competitions, workshops and dance parties. There will be two days of workshops led by Ksenia. There will be three nights of parties, including late night club events and a one minute cabaret. There will be a solo jazz contest, and a 'Jack & Jill' contest. Of course, we will have incredible live music and swinging DJs.
This year we are focusing on " solo jazz steps".
The Lindy Hop is continually evolving. As a result, we have the Savoy style, Hollywood style, Smooth style & Stretch style Lindy( we think stretch stlyle is our essential basics ).
Now Lindy evolution is blending more jazz steps into Lindy.
She is a leading innovator and a beautiful example of how to incorporate more jazz steps into Lindy. Watch the videos below of her dancing and you will understand what we mean when we say she is one of the world's best.
